Sunday, October 23 – FOGVG

 Everyone is welcome to join us in Scottsville, NY for our FOGVG Annual Event and participate in some or all activities that include: bike rides or hikes on the newly resurfaced Greenway; a visit to the newly enhanced Lock #2; a self-guided walk through Scottsville’s Historic Rochester Street District; a program on the development of the GVG over the past 30 years, including the opening of the first 2 miles of trail in 1992 in the Village of Mt. Morris, the transition to a NYS Park in 2011, completion of the GVGSP Action Plan in June 2021, recent enhancements and resurfacing of trail in the north, and  new bridges and trail work in Allegany County that will result in 22 miles of continuous trail; a dish-to-pass dinner; and a brief FOGVG meeting.
